Good morning Digital Brew Community. If you don't know me, my name is Brian Colburn. I am the creator and writer here at Digital Brew, and this is Monday Momentum. I believe it's number 12. Hopefully check the title you'll know.
Today I wanna talk about. Starting the week off, right? I have already attended a virtual networking event this morning and gained six new connections secured, three calendar bookings.
And I mean, what a great way to start my week off with the momentum, pushing forward, connecting with new and potential customers, and more importantly, hoping that they'll be referral customers for me.
And if you. Uncomfortable with networking. Don't network a lot. No matter what industry and networking in a niche group and or wide group could be beneficial.

And if you're completely new to networking or don't have a CRM, I will even provide a link in the uh, show notes below. To a notion database that I built, which talks about networking.
The podcast is embedded and it comes with a CRM and events calendar to calendar all of your networking events. And that calendar will sync with your Google Calendar. Um, I believe it'll sync with an Outlook calendar as well, but don't quote me on that.
But starting the week off, right? I mean, a, I didn't have a great night's sleep. I woke up with a headache. No excuses.
I dove into a 7:00 AM networking event, and it was, it was great. Got to see some people whom I haven't seen in a while. Uh, number one. Number two, got to meet new people, which is phenomenal. And um, it's just brings so much energy to starting the week off, right? So check 'em out.
If you're unfamiliar with online networking events, a great place to get started is Alignable. Um, I'll throw a link to Alignable down below as well. Um, it's more business to business networking, but it's a cool platform and they do virtual networking events every day of the week. Um, and you'll be able to find a great fit to network with like-minded individuals and or potential referral partners.
