Good morning, everybody here on Digital Brew. Welcome to Monday, momentum number 13.

I am excited, a little saddened, um, but let's, let's break this down today.

So number one. I had a customer reach out to me saying he could no longer utilize some services that I offer because he didn't have the time. And the tool that I offer actually reduces the amount of time you need to spend on social media to create social media content and or engage with other people's social media content, and it can take it down from about two hours to about 20 minutes, a week, and I, I get it. I understand. I don't think that, that, that was the reason, but that was the reason he chose to give, and I, I encourage you, block time on your calendar for social media if you want to grow your business.

Organic growth is possible, but it takes consistency and any tool that will save you hours a week is well worth the money, in my mind.

I use it. Um, I use all of the services, uh, this tool has to offer. Um, and it is an investment, however. It, the ROI is just ridiculous in my opinion for me and the way I use it. So, um, with that, having been said, I want everyone to stop and think about what their goals are for utilizing social media for your content, content promotion, um, marketing, organic growth uh, even if you use paid ads, it still takes some time, calendar that time. Make it a priority a couple days a week to get in and utilize these platforms appropriately, at least a couple days a week. Um, I do my best to post on every platform at least daily, seven days a week. However, I utilize tools so I don't have to log in every day.

I can bulk create content, I can schedule it out and I can move on and get to, I don't even wanna say more important things because marketing is important.

I can get onto other things the business requires for me to do. So. Enough about that calendar time.

We're coming off this 14 hour TikTok ban.

I. I read a lot of comments, uh, over the weekend, and one thing that stood out was production and production process. And this is what I encourage you to do if you're creating content for any social media platform that should be archived. The copy, the imagery, the videos, and. I take it one step farther, I create content and then I upload it to various platforms.

I do not create content within a platform, and if I do, I download it that way. I have an archive built up of past content and a couple of things. If. A new platform launches next week. You have a catalog of content that you can go through the analytics and see what performed great and what didn't perform, and maybe you take that archived comment content and take those great pieces, performing pieces and upload them or schedule them out on this new platform.

Now you're, you're cooking with Grease, you have a, a. Release schedule of older content that performed well scheduled out, and you don't have to try to figure out how to use the platform, how to upload, how to do anything. You can just get content pushing out while you learn a new platform. And I think this TikTok ban, touches on this because if you create in TikTok and download it, it's watermarked. Or if you create in TikTok and share it with other platforms, it's watermarked, TikTok.

For example, if I'm scrolling through LinkedIn vertical video and I see something watermark, TikTok, I just skip it. I don't even take the time to to look at it because it wasn't created for LinkedIn.

It was created for another platform using that platform. And I, I don't know, it just decreases the value of that piece of content. Um. So create content, whether it be on your mobile, on your desktop in a, in a D-S-L-R or what have you. Edit it and then. Schedule it out to push on all the platforms. I, I'm not one for sharing cross platform, so I encourage you to do that, create this archive of copy imagery and videos, and have this catalog of back content.

Um, I think podcasters do this really well. Uh, the majority, the ones that take it seriously, I should say. Um, they have a catalog of older content and or can download it from their podcast hosting provider. However, I encourage you to do that. And, you know, I do it in chunks of 25. For example, um, Monday momentums one through 25 will be in a folder.

26 through 50 will be in a folder. Once I get into the 101. Then I'll create a new folder, one to a hundred and dump those four folders in it and move, remove it from my PC into cold storage, if you will, a, a removable drive or cloud. But that way I always have that content and I can repurpose it. I can access it anytime I want.

Um. It just makes for future production that much easier. I hope this message found you well. I hope you are pumped up and motivated. In addition to this being Monday Momentum 13, uh, here in the United States, a new president is being sworn in, um, or old president is being sworn in again. Um, I, um, don't discuss politics on that, but in my mind, you know, I, I served in the Marine Corps.

In my mind, this is a monumental day in politics in America, so it's something that I do my best to watch. Um, with all that having been said, I'm out.

We will see you next week on Monday, momentum 14, this being Monday Momentum 13, and I look forward to publishing the articles throughout the week.

Have a great day.
