[00:00:00] Welcome back to yet another week, bringing you a Monday Momentum here on Digital Brew.
If you don't know me, my name is Brian Colburn. I am a content creator coach, podcast producer, and here to create content to help content creators create. That's not a mouthful. I don't know what is.
Listen, I wanna go back to an article I wrote on the 9th of January, and if you haven't read it, it is called Maximizing Efficiency, stop Chasing New Tools and Start Mastering the ones you have.
And the reason I'm circling back to this, because over the weekend. I had a conversation with a customer who still isn't utilizing tools they're paying for to their maximum, and they're bringing up, I have this problem, and in my mind I'm like, well, don't you have this tool?
Well, yeah. Well [00:01:00] that tool solves for that problem. So what this boils down to is you might find a tool to solve a single problem, take the time to learn about that tool. And with the University of YouTube it's. Simpler than ever. For example, this cool new overlay, it's a tool I have and it's a tool I wasn't using and I wanted to personalize and make these videos a little more eye-popping in the feed.
So I'm utilizing this tool that I've already had to create this cool, colorful, well, I think it's cool, colorful, um, overlay for, uh, Monday momentums. But going back to the tools that you have. So many tools are multifaceted, and I think everybody looks for the one tool that does everything and your, idea of everything
isn't the creator's idea of [00:02:00] everything, nor is it the creator sitting next to you's idea of everything. Everybody has different use case scenarios, and that's why we have multiple tools in our arsenal to create the content we want to create. But how many tools can you reduce if. You maximize the efficiency of the tools you already have you're already paying for.
So do me a favor this week. Block out 30 minutes. Make that a recurring weekly event on your calendar and do deep dives into the tools you already have and are paying for. You might realize you're using a tool, paying for a tool you no longer need because this tool will solve for that problem. This can save you time, this can save you money, and this can save you post-production, pre-production, production time, helping you create better content, [00:03:00] faster serving your audience.
So that's it for today's Monday Momentum. Everybody have a great week. Um, I kind of had a slow weekend with the rains. However, I'm pumped up, I'm motivated, and I'm gonna create some cool content this week. I wish you the same.
We'll see you next week.
